Welcome to the Kaiserschmarrn-Alm! -rustic, informal, incredibly good - Visit us- come in and treat yourself to a little break after the hike with a good Augustiner beer and hearty Bavarian delicacies. Try the deer- and chamois specialties, our home-made rye-bread and, to top it off, the delicious Kaiserschmarrn.
It lives up to its name, the best Kaiserschmarrn I have ever tasted and a good portion of it at a fair price. Everything is right here. The classic traditional alpine ambience in the middle of nature with an impressive mountain panorama. Also, good service!
Perfect spot on a great day after going through the gorgeous gorge. Large plate of kaiserschmarrn for 13euros. Delicious
The Kaisermann Alm has definitely earned its name. After a day of hiking, there is nothing better than taking a break. First we had a wonderful goulash soup to warm up and then the very tasty Kaiserschmarrn. I think a visit to the Alm is also recommended without a previous hike. A nice excursion from Garmisch, because you can walk up or take the cable car to the top. Wonderful view :) highly recommended.
We stopped here after the Partnach Gorge. The view is fantastic - both inside and outside. The service was excellent and the food to die for. We'll be back 😍🐄🏔
No matter what you eat here, it enhances your day on vacation and is definitely a culinary highlight.
The food was delicious and the service friendly. The Corona rules were observed. The view is great. If you pass here during a hike, be sure to stop.
Very tasty food and fresh drinks next to a beautiful view and the free range cows. Definitely worthwhile
Were there on Sundays and were received very friendly by the boss personally. The service was very quick and courteous and despite the many guests, the manager had time for a funny conversation and tips on hiking. The Kaiserschmarrn lived up to the name of the Alm and the beer was freshly tapped and nice and cold. Just right for a break. Any time. Greetings from the Ruhr area.
P E R F E K T !!!!!
I was up there today. The view is amazing, the food delicious and the service was good too. Unfortunately, as a single traveler I was greeted by the gentleman at the reception with the words "this is my death fall"! greeted after telling him that I was alone. In addition, I could barely choke my beer because the man's looks told me to pay to make room for a group of high-paying customers. It's a shame that you are worth less as a solo traveler than in a group.
I have seldom eaten such a delicious Kaiserschmarrn. For that reason alone, a visit to this Alm is worthwhile. We were a bit disappointed with the lemonade, it was apparently just normal Sprite. Edit: We'd like to try the Enzo Alpin lemonade next time. Incidentally, the Alpen Hugo was also very delicious.
Service super friendly and fast! Get a table quickly despite Corona and good weather! Everything is very well organized. And of course the Kaiserschmarrn ... a dream.
The Kaiserschmarn is very tasty and the portion is large. The other food is also very good, if a little expensive in terms of price. (Large portion of fries 5 euros) The service staff are very attentive and nice. The view is priceless. The toilets very clean at 10am.
Just perfect! Once again there and everything is just right every time. The Alm itself, together with the panorama and the tasteful furnishings, is a visual highlight on arrival. The friendly welcome invites you to linger and as soon as the beautifully presented dishes reach the table, you don't want to leave at all. The dishes, whether classics like the Kaiserschmarrn or smart ones like the Alpentapas, always taste great and reveal the passion of the hosts: hospitality! The landlord is a hunter and game lovers in particular are in the best of hands here, as are every other guest.
We went on a trip with the family and my father really wanted to go to the Kaiserschmarrn-Alm because he is a "Kaiserschmarrn fanatic". We all enjoyed the climb and the view that followed, and the food was also very tasty. Can just be recommended. (It should also be noted that the staff was very nice)
Super tasty dishes (including exclusive items such as game that has been closed). You have to get along a bit with the wasps but absolutely recommendable. The wait staff was really friendly too. We waited 5 minutes longer for our dish and even got a small beer as an excuse (we didn't complain), really worth a visit!
Super friendly and fast service! You can only feel good ... The Kaiserschmarrn is in a class of its own, and the goulash soup is extremely tasty too! It was so worth it!
We were at the Kaiserschmarrn Alm today, August 24th, 2020. We were thrilled from the beginning to the end. We had different dishes like Swiss sausage salad fries (also very tasty) and of course the Kaiserschmarrn and that was also terrific. The service is friendly and helpful. The Kaiserschmarrn Alm can definitely be recommended.
Best kaiserschmarrn you can have
Nice food with mesmerizing view
We stayed here after visiting the gorge. I had been looking forward to delicious spaetzle and Kaiserschmarrn even before our vacation in Bavaria and was definitely not disappointed here! Both incredibly delicious with a magnificent view. A real highlight of our tour. Thanks for that!
As the name of the Alm suggests, the Kaiserschmarren is the house specialty - and rightly so. The Kaiserschmarren is delicious and the homemade apple compote rounds the whole thing off perfectly! The portion is huge and easily enough for 2 people. You can be there for just under € 12. The view and ambience also fit, you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains. The rush is great, but the Alm is highly recommended!
Above average food, but amazing location.
We were hungry and thirsty after visiting the Partnach Gorge and then climbing (at 33 degrees in the shade) to the Kaiserschmarn Alm. Despite the big crowd and the well-visited alpine pasture, we didn't have to wait. We were welcomed stress-free and very friendly at the entrance and accompanied to our place. We liked the food with this great view and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
First time here. We had some beer and a burger and salad both were great. Atmosphere was good and the view simple great.
Delicious kaiserschmann
Beautiful view and good food
Wonderful view, very delicious food - it couldn't be better 🙏🏻❤️ You should be there early, as all places are quickly filled. After a hike through the gorge we strengthened ourselves there
The best Kaiserschmaren in the world.
It tastes like microwaved food but the view is stunning
Great food!
Very cozy place and tasty Kaiserschmarrn.
Great place, where you can enjoy great views sitting outdoors and food tastes just so much better after a decent hike. The stuff is friendly and helpful. They provided us with instructions about hiking routes in the surrounding area and the kaiserschmarrn was actually one of the best I have ever tried. Well, I do agree, my opinion might be a bit biased, since fresh air and a bit of hunger are the best spices one may have. Nevertheless, the name is well deserved and you may definitely count on very delicious kaiserschmarrn. Saying that, the Brotzeitplatte and Spätzle were equally delicious. Best recommendations and will definitely come by again when I happen to be around.
The staff is really friendly and nice. They are helpful and attentive. There are outdoor and indoor seatings. The location is perfect for hikers to take a rest and have some refreshments. The rye bread is soft and delicious. It is one of the best rye bread I had. The sausage is tasty as well. There is restrooms right outside the restaurant.
Climb on and enjoy. A small hint of smile from the waiter would have earned a missing star.
A well-facilitated mountain cottage, a bayerish restaurant serves local delicacy for hikers. Such as Brotzeit meal, cheese spatzle with salad, sausages and famous home-made desserts, etc. The food was better than we expected, even a simple salad looks fresh and tastes delicious.
Delicious food. It’s located in a great place as well. First, we went along the river through a mountain tunnel and then on quite a hike to the top and down the hill. It was great to find a place to eat as we were starving. The staff was very nice and friendly and even gave us a doggy bag. Totally recommend it!
Great schnitty!
The “Kaiserschmarrn” was quite okay, while the place itself is rather touristy. The staff is fairly unorganised and we waited a long time even though the Alm was not crowded and many tables were free. In general the waiter’s attitude was annoyed and not hospitable. There are other places around that are a bit off the beaten tracks.
Disappointed because we ran all the way up to see that it’s closed even though opening times insured that it would be open. Not trustworthy.
Great taste especially after long walk
Great stop-over while you are hanging around Partnachklamm and above. Staff is very friendly, seriously one of my best experiences in Munich. Food is delicious and prices are good. Loved it!
After a very very exciting and long hike through the Partnach-Klamm Gorge, we finally made it all the way up to the top of the mountain and much to our surprise came upon this Sky High eatery and biergarten, the Kaiserschmarn-Alm. It couldn't have come at a better time, you must try the Vesper-Brettle. After a hearty lunch and a beer we took the gondola back down off the mountain
great
Potato soup with truffle was amazing! Great service. Excellent Hugo!
Nice place to visit
Top
Beautiful place. Whether you take the tram or hike all the way up there definitely a must. It was a cute little place. Great customer service and the salad i had actually filled me!
Best Kaiserschmarrn ever.
Top location! Super käsespätzle!
